Destiny 2 Overthrow is a new activity in the Final Shape, found in the Pale Heart of the Traveler. Players must complete various objectives to earn points and progress through the activity. You need 1000 points to move from one stage to the next, leading up to the unique boss spawning at the end of each tier.
The activity includes 3 stages plus a final boss encounter. Earning enough points lets you advance to the next stage and so on until you reach the boss.
Overthrow is crucial for upgrading the Legendary Khvostov 7G-02 Auto-Rifle to the Exotic version. You can earn Luminescent Seeds, a possible reward drop from Overthrow. Completing a full run of Overthrow in The Landing is also a requirement for unlocking the Dual Destiny Exotic mission.
