Pit of Heresy is a dungeon in Destiny 2 introduced with the Shadowkeep expansion. It was released on October 29, 2019, as part of the Shadowkeep expansion during the 2019 Festival of the Lost.
Pit of Heresy takes Guardians deep into the Moon’s Hellmouth, where they face off against Hive enemies and navigate dark, challenging corridors. Pit of Heresy is the only place where you can farm the powerful Premonition pulse rifle, and even better, it provides some of the game’s best high-stat armor.

Here’s what you’ll find in this guide:

Pit of Heresy Armor Sets: The Dreambane
In Destiny 2, the Pit of Heresy dungeon stands out by dropping the Dreambane armor set, which is not unique to the dungeon but comes with significantly high stats, making it one of the best options in the game for maximizing performance.
Below, you can see Pit of Heresy armor sets for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans.

Though the Dreambane set isn’t exclusive to Pit of Heresy, the high-stat versions it offers make it highly sought after. Now, with transmog available, players often prioritize obtaining high-stat armor over collecting new armor designs.
