How to farm Duality in Destiny 2 TFS
When Duality is the weekly featured dungeon, you can farm it for unlimited loot with a dedicated Fireteam and a few hours to spare.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to farming the Duality dungeon:
- Play through the dungeon on your first character until reaching the encounter you want to farm.
- Begin the encounter, then wipe (die without completing it).
- Ask your Fireteam to wait, then switch to another character that hasn’t run the dungeon that week.
- Rejoin your Fireteam with this second character and wipe again, so they now hold the checkpoint.
- You’re set! Follow these steps to continue farming the encounter until reset:
- Launch the dungeon on your second character (holding the checkpoint).
- Swap to your first character and rejoin your Fireteam.
- Complete the encounter, collect your loot, exit, switch back, and repeat from Step 1.

Duality Armor Sets: Deep Explorer

Below, you can see Duality armor sets for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans.
The Deep Explorer armor sets include:
- Deep Explorer Helmet | Mask | Hood
- Deep Explorer Gauntlets | Grasps | Gloves
- Deep Explorer Plate | Vest | Vestments
- Deep Explorer Greaves | Strides | Boots
- Deep Explorer Mark | Cloak | Bond
While these sets may not initially appear visually striking, they have gained a strong fan following and are becoming increasingly popular.
Master Duality Rewards
D2 Duality includes a Master version, which offers Artifice armor.
Artifice armor in Destiny 2 is a special type of armor that offers an extra mod slot, allowing you to optimize your Guardian’s stats more effectively. This additional slot provides a +3 stat boost to a chosen attribute, enabling players to fine-tune their stats without using armor energy.
Artifice armor is only available in Master-level dungeons. Whenever a dungeon is featured as the weekly Master dungeon or when it’s the most recent release, you can earn Artifice armor as loot. Notably, some dungeons like Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, and Prophecy don’t have Master versions, so they don’t drop Artifice armor.
To farm Artifice armor efficiently, focus on dungeons with encounters that drop armor pieces. Popular choices include the first and third encounters in the Duality dungeon or other straightforward encounters in Spire of the Watcher and Ghosts of the Deep. Remember to activate a stat-boosting mod on your Ghost Shell before starting, as it helps boost specific stats while farming.
Make sure to run the Duality dungeon on Master difficulty and work with a Fireteam to maximize your loot potential.
