Alterac Valley, a popular battleground in World of Warcraft, offers players the opportunity to get 4 unique mounts: Stormpike Battle Ram, Frostwolf Snarler, Stormpike Battle Charger, Horn of the Frostwolf Howler. All of them have unique models and requirements for unlocking based on the game you play (Classic or Retail) and the type of AV mount you want.
Stormpike Battle Ram and Frostwolf Snarler were introduced in Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2.5. These mounts can only be unlocked through participating in the Alterac Valley of Olde during WoW's anniversary celebrations. The mounts become available after completing the Alterac Valley of Olde achievement.
Alternatively, you can get the Classic version of Alterac Valley mounts: Stormpike Battle Charger or Horn of the Frostwolf Howler.
- In WoW Retail they can be purchased for 15x Marks of Honor.
- If you play Cataclysm Classic, we can also get you these AV mounts. In this case, they require an Exalted reputation with the Stormpike Guard (Alliance) or the Frostwolf Clan (Horde).
- Once you get the required rep rank, you can buy the Stormpike Battle Charger from Gaelden Hammersmith (Alliance), or Horn of the Frostwolf Howler from Grunnda Wolfheart (Horde).
