Midnight brought a ton of new mounts, tied to systems like Delves, Prey Hunts, Voidstorm zones, and Renown factions. Sure, some of them require high‑end PvE, PvP, or Mythic+ achievements — but plenty are surprisingly easy to grab. No endless RNG, no top‑tier gear needed.
- Can be done solo or with a light group
- Guaranteed or highly reliable drop (no extreme RNG grind)
- No mythic raiding or high‑end progression required
Elven Arcane Guardian
Type: Vendor Mount (Delves)
One of the simplest mounts in Midnight.
How to get it:
- Unlock Delves by completing the introductory quest in Silvermoon (level 80+).
- Run any Delves on any difficulty. Low tiers (1–3) are fastest.
- Each Delve gives 150–300 Undercoin depending on length and optional objectives.
- Collect 10,000 Undercoin – about 35–50 Delves.
- Go to Naleidea Rivergleam in Silvermoon (near the portal room) and buy the mount.
Time estimate: 4–6 hours spread over a week.
💡 Tip: Run low‑tier Delves. Fast clears = fastest currency.
Preyseeker’s Hubris
Type: Construct V’anore vendor Mount (Prey System)
How to get it:
- Reach level 90 and start the Prey System quest in Harandar.
- Complete daily Prey Hunts – each gives 50–100 Remnant of Anguish.
- Reach Preyseeker’s Journey Rank 5 (requires ~1,500 total Remnant of Anguish earned – happens automatically while farming).
- Visit Construct V’anore in the Prey hub and buy the mount.
Time estimate: 3–5 days of daily hunts (30 minutes per day).
💡 Easier than it looks — early Prey tiers are very accessible.
Crimson Dragonhawk
Type: Exploration Achievement
How to get it:
- Learn Skyriding (unlocked at level 90 automatically).
- Open your map in each zone (Eversong, Zul’Aman, Harandar, Voidstorm).
- Look for glowing glyph icons – there are 20–25 per zone.
- Fly through each glyph to collect it. No combat needed.
- After collecting all glyphs in all zones, the Midnight Glyph Hunter achievement completes and the mount appears in your collection.
Time estimate: 1–2 hours total, depending on flight speed.
💡 No combat — just pure exploration. Go fly around.
Relinquished Scarlet Charger
Type: Quest Reward
How to get it:
- Start the Midnight campaign in Silvermoon (Arator’s Journey).
- Complete all main story chapters – about 15–20 quests.
- The final quest, Relinquishing Relics, rewards the mount automatically.
- No optional side quests needed.
Time estimate: 3–4 hours of questing.
💡 One of the most straightforward mounts in the expansion. Just play the story.
Vivacious Chloroceros
Type: Achievement (Exploration)
How to get it:
- Go to Harandar zone (southwest of Eversong).
- Find and loot 30 hidden treasures. They are marked on the map once you get close.
- Use /way coordinates or HandyNotes addon to locate them.
- Each treasure gives 5–10 gold and sometimes crafting materials.
- After looting all 30, the Treasures of Harandar achievement completes and the mount is mailed to you.
Time estimate: 2–3 hours of running around.
💡 Pure exploration gameplay — no RNG bosses, just your eyes and a good /way macro.
Vivid Chloroceros
Type: Mothkeeper Wew’tam vendor (Collection mechanic)
How to get it:
- Go to Harandar moth groves (southwest area).
- Click on glowing moths to capture them. Each capture gives 1 Luminous Dust.
- Collect 50 moths (50 Luminous Dust) and also capture 50 moths (the same count).
- Trade 10 Luminous Dust to Mothkeeper Wew’tam for the mount.
Tip: Each moth respawns every 2–3 minutes. Make a small loop between 5–6 moth spawn points. Takes about 30–40 minutes total.
Time estimate: 1 hour.
Elder Glowmite
Type: Mothkeeper Wew’tam vendor Upgrade Mount
How to get it:
- First get the Vivid Chloroceros (above).
- Capture another 120 moths (120 more Luminous Dust).
- Return to Mothkeeper Wew’tam and buy the Elder Glowmite for 10 Luminous Dust.
- This is a different mount, not a recolor – it glows and has particle effects.
Time estimate: 2–3 hours total moth farming.
💡 Long‑term but completely predictable. Just keep catching moths.
Amani Sunfeather
Type: World Event Mount
How to get it:
- Wait for the Abundance world event (rotates every 2 hours, appears on zone map).
- Go to Zul’Aman during the event.
- Complete event objectives: kill 10 spirits, collect 50 soul fragments, or defeat the rare boss.
- Each event gives 150–250 Unalloyed Abundance.
- Buy the mount from Chel the Chip vendor near the event start point.
Time estimate: 6–10 events (about 3–5 hours over several days).
💡 One of the most casual‑friendly mounts. Rotating events, zero stress.
Nether‑Swept Drake
Type: Profession (Fishing)
How to get it:
- Go to Voidstorm zone (east of Harandar).
- Find Oceanic Vortexes – small floating orbs in the water.
- Fish from inside the vortex (cast directly into it).
- Each cast has a ~0.5% chance to catch a Nether‑Warped Egg.
- Wait 7 real days for the egg to hatch (in your inventory) – then the mount is learned.
Time estimate: 1–10 hours of fishing, plus 7 days waiting.
💡 Low effort, passive farming. Perfect while watching Netflix or chatting in Discord.
Light‑Forged Mechsuit
Type: Pre‑Patch Event Achievement
How to get it:
- This mount is no longer obtainable if you missed the pre‑patch event (November 2025).
- If you played during the event: kill all 12 rare mobs in the Twilight Ascension rotation.
- Rares appear every 30–45 minutes on a fixed schedule.
- After killing all 12, the Two Minutes to Midnight achievement auto‑completes and the mount is mailed to you.
💡 Takes time, but no high skill ceiling. Just show up and tag.
Best Strategy for Fast Mount Collection
If you want efficiency:
- Start with campaign + exploration mounts – guaranteed rewards, no RNG.
- Move to vendor mounts (Delves / Prey) – steady currency farm.
- Farm world events (Abundance) – easy currency while having fun.
- Finish with collection systems (moths, fishing) – do them in the background.
Now go add some new rides to your collection. Happy hunting.
