How to Get Light Up the Night Achievement
To earn the Brilliant Petalwing mount, you must complete all four zone meta‑achievements:
| Zone | Meta‑Achievement |
|---|---|
| Eversong Woods | Forever Song |
| Zul’Aman | Making an Amani Out of You |
| Harandar | That’s Aln, Folks! |
| Voidstorm | Yelling into the Voidstorm |
Completing every required achievement across these zones automatically grants Light Up the Night and sends the Brilliant Petalwing to your collection.
Forever Song – Eversong Woods
The Forever Song achievement requires you to complete seven tasks in Eversong Woods.
- Treasures of Eversong Woods – locate all 9 hidden treasures (use /way coordinates from TomTom addon).
- Explore Eversong Woods – fully reveal the zone map.
- A Bloody Song – defeat all 15 rare mobs in the zone.
- Runestone Rush – interact with all runestones.
- The Party Must Go On – participate in the Saltheril’s Soiree world event.
- Ever Painting – find and interact with 7 painter’s easels across the zone.
- Rares have a chance to drop the Cerulean Hawkstrider and Cobalt Dragonhawk mounts.
- Completing Ever Painting rewards the Silvermoon Painter’s Cushion housing decor.
- The Party Must Go On requires you to be present for the full world event – it runs on a rotation, so check your zone map for the active timer.
Making an Amani Out of You – Zul’Aman
This achievement requires completing five tasks in Zul’Aman.
- Treasures of Zul’Aman – locate all 8 hidden treasures.
- Tallest Tree in the Forest – defeat all rare mobs in Zul’Aman.
- Explore Zul’Aman – fully reveal the zone map.
- Abundance: Prosperous Plentitude! – complete the Abundance world event in each of the four Midnight zones (Eversong Woods, Zul’Aman, Harandar, Voidstorm).
- Altar of Blessings: Sacred Buffet Devotee – activate all 24 buff effects from the Altar of Blessings system.
Altar of Blessings guide:
The Altar is located in Amani’Zar Village /way #2437 43.16 69.28. You must first unlock 8 lesser loa blessings by completing quests and activities in Zul’Aman. Each blessing unlocks 3 buff effects. Once all 8 blessings are unlocked, speak with Du’gal the Altar Keeper and interact with each buff on the altar.
Tips:
- Rares have a chance to drop the Amani Sharptalon and Escaped Witherbark Pango mounts.
- Tallest Tree in the Forest awards the Colossal Amani Stone Visage housing decor.
That’s Aln, Folks! – Harandar
Harandar’s meta‑achievement requires completing eight tasks and is considered the most time‑gated of the four.
- Treasures of Harandar – locate all 9 hidden treasures (use /way coordinates).
- Explore Harandar – fully reveal the zone map.
- Leaf None Behind – defeat all rare mobs in Harandar.
- Chronicler of the Haranir – complete the Legends of the Haranir weekly story quests (time‑gated – one new relic per week).
- Legends Never Die – complete additional Haranir campaign objectives.
- No Time to Paws – complete specific combat challenges.
- Dust ‘Em Off – interact with lore objects in the Aln.
- From The Cradle to the Grave – complete a hidden questline.
Time‑gated warning:
Chronicler of the Haranir requires completing the Legends of the Haranir weekly questline. Only one relic is released per week. If you’re starting late in the season, you can catch up using alts – each alt can choose a different relic to pursue, and completion counts account‑wide.
Tips:
- Rares have a chance to drop the Rootstalker Grimlynx and Vibrant Petalwing mounts.
- Leaf None Behind awards the Lightbloom Moss Mound housing decor, and Legends Never Die awards the On’ohia’s Call housing decor.
Yelling into the Voidstorm – Voidstorm
The final zone meta‑achievement requires completing five tasks in Voidstorm.
- Treasures of Voidstorm – locate all 13 hidden treasures (use /way coordinates).
- Explore Voidstorm – fully reveal the zone map.
- The Ultimate Predator – defeat all rare mobs in Voidstorm.
- Thrill of the Chase – fly off the edge of the Voidstorm map until you are targeted by the Hungering Presence, then survive the chase for 60 seconds using Skyriding abilities. The creature is very fast – use Second Wind and speed boosts. If caught, you are one‑shot and must restart.
- A Singular Problem – complete all 3 waves of the Stormarion Assault world event at Stormarion Citadel /way #2405 26.82 67.89. Before the assault, complete preparatory quests to earn Stormarion Cores, which help during the defense.
Tips:
- Some Voidstorm rares are difficult to defeat early in the season – use the LFG tool to find groups.
- Rares have a chance to drop the Augmented Stormray and Sanguine Harrower mounts.
- The Ultimate Predator awards the Opened Domanaar Storage Crate housing decor.
- Treasures of Voidstorm rewards the Interdimensional Parcel Signal toy.
WoW Light Up the Night Tips
- Addons: Install TomTom to use /way coordinate commands, and HandyNotes: Midnight to see all treasures and rare spawns on your minimap.
- Level Requirements: Ensure your character is level 90 – all Midnight zones are tuned for max‑level characters.
- Estimated Completion Time: Approximately 7+ weeks due to the time‑gated Legends of the Haranir weekly quests in Harandar. However, using alts can significantly shorten this (each alt can choose a different relic to pursue).
- The Thrill of the Chase: This achievement is purely mechanical – practice your Skyriding route before starting the timer. There are multiple safe paths; find one that works for you.
- Abundance event: To participate, complete the introduction quest from Chel the Chip in Amani’Zar Village /way #2437 45.01 67.62.
- Alt Strategy for Harandar: The time‑gated relics can be tackled on alts. Each alt can pick a different relic quest, allowing you to complete all seven relics in a single week (after the last one is released).
