Midnight Campaign and Warband Benefits
Your first character will go through the new campaign across Quel’Thalas and the surrounding regions. Finishing it unlocks account‑wide systems:
- Adventure Mode for alts (no need to redo the whole campaign)
- Shared Warband reputation (progress once, benefit all)
- World quests and endgame systems
- Warband leveling bonuses (more max‑level characters = faster alts)
| Max‑level characters | XP bonus for alts |
|---|---|
| 1 | +5% |
| 2 | +10% |
| 3 | +15% |
| 4 | +20% |
| 5 | +25% |
The Fastest 1-70 Leveling Method
Early leveling is still very fast thanks to modern scaling.
Levels 1–10
Just do the starter zone quests. Focus on quick kill quests and bonus objectives. Skip long travel chains.
Levels 10–30
Chromie Time is your best friend. The fastest expansions are still:
- Warlords of Draenor (bonus objectives are insane XP)
- Legion (good quest density)
Dungeon queues + bonus objectives = extremely fast XP.
Levels 30–70
You have several good options:
- Dungeon spam (fastest with a group)
- Bonus objectives (especially in Draenor)
- Quest stacking (pick up everything in one hub)
- Timewalking campaigns (when available)
- Party Sync (if you have a friend lower level)
Tanks and healers get instant queues. DPS players should mix questing and dungeons to avoid downtime.

How Level Up Fast in WoW Midnight (70-90)
This is the new expansion content. Here’s what works.
Main Story Quests
Side Quests and World Events
- Extra XP
- Gear upgrades
- Reputation
- Profession rewards
World events in Midnight scale well for solo players and groups. If you see one near your route, do it.
Dungeon Runs
- Queue while questing – never sit idle waiting for a pop.
- Complete dungeon quests – each dungeon usually has 1–3 quests that give massive XP and good gear. Run each dungeon at least once.
- Play with friends – a coordinated group clears faster, wipes less, and gets more XP per hour.
- Daily random dungeon bonus – even if you prefer questing, the daily bonus is worth it.
Delves
- Competitive XP
- Gear upgrades
- Seasonal progression
If dungeon queues are long or you just want to play solo, Delves are your best alternative.
Warmode and PvP Talents
Crafting for XP
Tip: Save your profession first crafts for levels 88–89. That final stretch can be slow, and a few profession crafts can push you over the line.
Popular combos: Mining + Herbalism (gather while leveling), or any crafting profession + its gathering pair.
The Fastest Leveling Route
Here’s a simple route to follow.
Starting zone (70–75):
Jump straight into the Midnight campaign. Do main story quests, grab nearby side quests, and hit world events on your way. Enable Warmode once you reach the main city hub if your faction is dominant.
Mid‑levels (75–87):
Continue the campaign, but add:
- Dungeon runs between quest hubs (use the queue)
- Efficient side quest clusters (don’t do long chains unless required)
- Zone events whenever they’re up
Final push (87–90):
At this point, the campaign might be done or almost done. Combine:
- Dungeon runs (especially if you have a tank/healer)
- Delves (solo or group)
- World activities (events, bonus objectives)
- Profession first crafts (if you saved them)
This mix is much faster than pure questing at the end.
Conclusion
- For your first character: focus on the campaign, mix in dungeons and world events, and save profession crafts for the final push.
- For alts: dungeon spam + Warband bonuses is incredibly efficient. Adventure Mode lets you skip the campaign entirely.
Balance questing, dungeons, Delves, professions, and events, and you’ll hit 90 quickly – ready for Mythic+, raids, PvP, and whatever else Midnight throws at you.
