A Legendary Album (WoW Achievement)

A Legendary Album is a World of Warcraft Dragonflight achievement that requires taking photo of several legendary NPCs while completing cataloguing World Quests. This achievement is one of the parts of the Wake Me Up meta achievement (which grants the Bestowed Ohuna Spotter WoW mount). And Wake Me Up, in it’s turn, is a part of the A World Awoken meta-achievement, which grants the Good Boy’s Leash mount.

From this guide, you will learn how to complete the A Legendary Album World of Warcraft achievement quickly and get your hands on the above-mentioned mounts.

Step 1: Unlock the Achievement Prerequisites

First, you’ll need to level your reputation with the Dragonscale Expedition and unlock the Expedition Supply Kit. Follow these steps:

1. Dragonscale Reputation: Reach Renown Level 8 with the Dragonscale Expedition to unlock the quest line A Cataloger’s Paradise.
2. Expedition Supply Kit: Once you’ve earned enough reputation, unlock the supply kit at coordinates [47.31, 83.35] in the Dragonscale Basecamp, next to Pathfinder Jeb.
3. Lucky Rock Power-Up: the Expedition Supply talent Lucky Rock is crucial. It allows you to spot legendary NPCs during cataloging world quests. Make sure to invest Dragon Isles Supplies in the kit to get this upgrade.

Legendary NPCs only appear during specific Cataloging World Quests. You must wait until one is active in the relevant zone. If no cataloging quest is available, you won’t be able to capture any legendary NPCs at that time. World quests rotate, so patience is key.

Step 2: Legendary NPC Locations

Below are the spawn points for each legendary NPC. You’ll need to visit these locations during cataloging world quests to find and photograph the NPCs.

The Waking Shores:

• Abu’Gar: Found at [64, 49]. Look for a troll fishing near the end of the raft ride on the left side.

• Chen Stormstout: Located at [50, 68]. He’s a male Pandaren fishing on the right side of the river after the first waterfall.

Ohn’ahran Plains:

• Elder Clearwater: Found at [73, 84]. A male Tuskarr is fishing on a central island just after starting the raft ride.

• Nat Pagle: Found at [52, 57]. Nat is fishing on top of a bridge near the end of the raft ride.

Azure Span

• Chief Telemancer Oculeth: Located at [44, 61]. He’s a male Nightborne on the left side of the river just before the first waterfall.

Thaldraszus

• Wrathion: Found at [51, 42]. His location varies, but he flies in a predictable pattern in his black dragon form during the balloon ride.

• Time-Warped Mysterious Fisher: Located at [38, 69]. This NPC looks like your character and is hidden behind a rock wall after the first waterfall. Wearing bright-colored armor can help spot them.

Attention: Keep your eyes open for these NPCs during your cataloging raft rides, and snap a photo as soon as they appear. If an NPC doesn’t show up on your first try, keep running the quest when it’s active—legendary NPCs don’t spawn every time.

WoW A Legendary Album Tips

• World Quest Rotation: Be patient as not all cataloging world quests spawn daily. Keep checking for when the quests are available.
• Fixed Spawn Points: All legendary NPCs have fixed locations, so once a world quest is active, go to the coordinates listed above to find them.
• Upgrades: Ensure you have the Lucky Rock power-up from the Expedition Supply Kit before attempting this achievement.

Completing the achievement will reward you with several sub-achievements, and you’ll unlock all the legendary NPC photos for your collection. It may take a few days due to the world quest rotation, but with persistence, you’ll finish it!
