How to Farm The Shattered Throne

Whenever the Shattered Throne dungeon is featured, you can farm it for unlimited rewards. To do this, you’ll need a dedicated Fireteam and some time.

icon Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Start the Dungeon: Begin the dungeon on your main character, and play through until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
  2. Wipe at the Encounter: Start the encounter and intentionally wipe (lose the encounter without completing it).
  3. Switch Characters: Tell your Fireteam to wait, then switch to a different character that hasn’t run the dungeon that week.
  4. Rejoin and Wipe Again: Join your Fireteam on this new character and wipe again. This will save the encounter checkpoint for your second character.

Now you’re ready to farm the encounter as many times as you like until the weekly reset.

icon Here’s how:

  • Use the Checkpoint Character: Launch the dungeon with your second character to keep the checkpoint.
  • Switch Back and Farm: Switch back to your first character, rejoin your Fireteam, complete the encounter, and collect loot.
  • Repeat: Leave the dungeon, switch characters, and repeat from Step 1.

With this method, you can farm the encounter you need for rewards until the weekly reset.

The Shattered Throne Armor Sets

In Destiny 2, unlike other dungeons that grant exclusive armor sets, the Shattered Throne rewards players with the Dreaming City’s Reverie Dawn armor. While this set isn’t unique to the dungeon, the pieces you find here come with exceptionally high stats and are very valuable for any loadout. If you don’t like how this set looks, you can use the transmogrification feature (thus imo it looks great for all classes).
