D2 Salvation’s Edge Loot Guide

Salvation’s Edge, part of Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion released on June 11, 2024, involves Guardians taking on the Witness’ Monolith in the Pale Heart of the Traveler. The raid includes challenging puzzles, tough enemies, and epic boss fights, ending with the Witness itself.

Salvation’s Edge has 5 encounters, each offering unique Legendary weapons, class-specific armor sets, and the Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle, Euphony.

To get Euphony in Destiny 2:

1. Complete Salvation’s Edge Raid – This is required to unlock Euphony.
2. Start the Quest – Visit Ikora Rey in the Tower and pick up the “Echoes of Harmony” quest.
3. Finish the Salvation’s Edge Raid – Complete this raid to continue.
4. Complete Quest Steps – Follow the steps, including defeating powerful enemies in the Dreaming City and visiting the Drifter and Zavala.
5. Assemble Euphony – Return to Ikora Rey to finish the quest and receive Euphony.

Is Salvation’s Edge Farmable?

You can farm it in two ways: by spending Spoils of Conquest at the raid vendor or by running the raid when it’s the featured weekly raid.

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to farming the SE raid:

Step 1: Prepare for the Raid

• Team: Assemble a group of 6 players. Use LFG (Looking for Group) if needed.
• Gear: Equip powerful weapons like Anarchy, Divinity, or Witherhoard for bosses, and Pulse Rifles or SMGs for clearing enemies.

Step 2: Farm During Featured Raid Weeks

• Salvation’s Edge is fully farmable when it’s the weekly featured raid. Check the weekly reset to see if it’s featured.
• During these weeks, you can run the raid multiple times on the same character to farm each encounter for loot.

Step 3: Use Spoils of Conquest

• After defeating the final boss, a chest called Cache of the Salvation appears.
• Spend 20 Spoils of Conquest per item to buy weapons or armor you’ve unlocked.
• Collect Spoils by running other raids or completing encounters in Salvation’s Edge.

Step 4: Find Hidden Chests

• There are two hidden chests in Salvation’s Edge that drop mods and gear you’ve already earned.
  • First Hidden Chest: Found after the second encounter, near the jumping puzzle section.
  • Second Hidden Chest: Located after the fourth encounter, before the final boss.
• These chests can drop mods like Enhanced Tracker or gear you’ve previously collected.

Step 5: Complete Weekly Challenges for Extra Rewards

• Each encounter has a weekly challenge that boosts your chances of getting rare weapons and increases Exotic drop rates.
• Check the weekly raid challenge and complete it for more loot.

The Salvation’s Edge raid in Destiny 2 offers a chance to acquire one Exotic weapon named Euphony, as well as six Legendary guns, each with distinct abilities and elements.

Is this weapon worth farming?	Yes, Euphony has unique traits and high damage output, especially when used with a Strand Warlock. Its ability to spawn Threadlings and increase damage makes it a powerful option.
How to Get it?	The Euphony Exotic can only drop from Salvation’s Edge’s final boss, The Witness. You can increase your chances of obtaining it by completing specific triumphs. The base drop rate is estimated to be around 5%, but completing triumphs can boost this rate.

How to Get it	Drops from Salvation’s Edge raid, specifically the 3rd and 5th encounters. It can also be focused at the end of the raid, with a guaranteed Deepsight version on your first pull.

Is this weapon worth farming?	Yes, but with caveats. Imminence is a Strand SMG from the Salvation’s Edge Raid. While SMGs are not as dominant as they once were, Imminence has strong perks for both PvE and PvP, making it a viable option.
How to Get it	Imminence drops from three encounters in the Salvation’s Edge Raid: Substratum, Herald of Finality, and Verity. The fastest encounter to farm is Herald of Finality when the raid is featured. It can also be purchased from the Raid cache for 20 Spoils of Conquest after defeating The Witness. One red-border version can be bought per week.

Is this weapon worth farming?	Summun Bonum is the first wave-frame Sword in Destiny 2, leaning more toward ad-clear than DPS. Sacrificing a Heavy slot for ad-clear is generally not ideal, as Machine Guns are better for this purpose. It lacks utility perks like Eager Edge, making it less appealing. However, it has solid DPS perks like Relentless Strikes, Chaos Reshaped, Bait and Switch, and Surrounded, so its viability for DPS remains to be seen.
