Zul'Gurub is a 20-man raid that was first introduced in Vanilla WoW Classic. It was designed as a "catch-up" raid, offering powerful gear that was easier to get than pieces from Molten Core or Blackwing Lair. The raid is non-linear, allowing the final boss to be accessed before defeating all other bosses. Zul'Gurub was the capital of the Gurubashi Trolls, destroyed by civil war and corruption. Later, Atal'ai Priests returned to the city for their purposes.
